Ashley BentonMSP, CCC-SLPAshley is originally from Norway, SC. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University and later pursued a master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from The University of South Carolina. Ashley worked as a therapist for Greenville County Schools for five years prior to beginning with the Speech, Hearing, & Learning Center in 2006. She also gained experience treating children in their natural environment, home or daycare, while working with a contract agency. She enjoys all areas of speech pathology but has a significant interest in infant-toddler language development and sensory processing. Ashley works with children as young as eighteen months and as old as eighteen years. Ashley is a licensed speech pathologist with the State of South Carolina and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence. She is a member of the South Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association as well as the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a past president of the Piedmont Speech and Hearing Consortium and continues to serve actively on their board. Personally, Ashley enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and dog. Her hobbies include playing board games, walking, and cooking.
