Office Manager/Services Coordinator
Cindy Arms joined the staff of the Speech, Hearing, & Learning Center (SHLC) in 2002 as an Intake/Scheduling Specialist scheduling appointments for the Speech & Audiology Departments. After two years, she accepted the blended position of Office Manager for SHLC and Services Coordinator for the Psychology and Learning Department. In her position as the Services Coordinator, Mrs. Arms provides intake and scheduling for all appointments in the Psychology and Learning Department. She is also the front line person for the department in terms of fielding questions regarding our services.
Mrs. Arms enjoys her job at SHLC as it affords her the opportunity to talk with many different families and offer assistance in scheduling appropriate appointments for any educational, social, or emotional issues the individual or a family member may have. She finds her job at SHLC to be a wonderful learning experience, which she finds professionally rewarding.
At home, Cindy is very active at Motlow Creek Baptist Church where she teaches a Children’s Sunday School class and sings in the choir. She and husband, Keith, enjoy doing various projects around their home as well as spending time with their son, Andrew, who lives in Taylors. Her interests include reading, gardening, and music.
